The Trauma Centre provides specialist counselling from a humanistic and integrative perspective in a welcoming and safe environment for male and female adults, aged 18 years and above, who are residing in the Hull and East Riding and are experiencing issues arising from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as a result of childhood sexual abuse The Trauma Centre provides specialist counselling for adults experiencing issues arising from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, as a result of childhood sexual abuse, sexual violence, or sexual exploitation and human trafficking, regardless of gender, residence status, nationality or citizenship.
We also offer individual and couple counselling for survivors of sexual abuse and their partners when there is risk of domestic violence or the family unit collapsing. Pre-trial therapy is also available and a monthly support group for males who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.
Please note that we do not see perpetrators of abuse.
